In 2021 and 2022, RGF Staffing NZ (Chandler Macleod, OCG Consulting, and Peoplebank NZ) and Peoplebank Australia re-established their top diversity initiatives, planning goals around how to create more inclusive and diverse hiring practices, as well as creating a welcoming and safe culture internally for all.

One of these initiatives centred around a commitment to the LGBTTQIA+ community. As an organisation, we have always been accepting of people who identify as part of the LGBTTQIA+ community, but we would also like to enhance and improve recruiting practices to encourage people from the LGBTTQIA+ space to apply for roles. Our first aim was to provide internal education on how to do so effectively. This commitment led us to approach Pride Pledge.

As one of our business goals was to provide training, we were very lucky to have Marty King from Pride Pledge come and train, discuss, and answer questions our team had regarding the Rainbow community, and help our team improve their understanding of the community to help assist them in the best way possible on their job hunting journey.
