At RGF Staffing APEJ, we understand that climate change requires immediate action to prevent irreversible damage occurring to our climate and way of life.
What are we doing?
RGF Staffing APEJ have set a target to be certified as carbon neutral across our entire value chain (scopes 1,2 and 3) by 2030. More than simply offsetting our emissions, our goal extends to reducing our carbon emissions:
- 20% decrease in emissions for Scope 1
- 30% decrease in emissions for Scope 2
- 20% decrease in emissions for Scope 3
We will achieve this by?
- Promote a hybrid working model where our employees can work where they are most effective. Office space will be reduced to focus on collaboration activities and employees are supported to work from home which assist in reducing emissions from commuting
- New office leases with reduced footprint, with adaptive LED lighting, desk booking systems and end-of-trip facilities to encourage non-motorised commuting
- Understand the commuting behaviour of our people and explore initiates to change commuting behaviours away from personal vehicles
What have we done?
- We now collate and report energy usage for our offices in accordance with the Carbon Disclosure Project
- We aim to be carbon neutral in scope 1 & 2 by implementing carbon emission reductions and the purchase of carbon offsets in conjunction with our global parent company, Recruit Holdings
